Meagan Weber
Maid of Honor

Meagan is my sister, so of course when I started thinking about my wedding party, I immediately asked Meagan to be the Maid of Honor. Growing up, we didn’t always get along. But over the past few years we have grown closer than ever and we are very excited about my upcoming wedding. I can’t wait to share this day with such an important person in my life.

Sam Zastrow
Maid of Honor

Sam and I met freshman year at UST on the swim team. We swam in the same lane and would often push each other through really tough practices, but we quickly became more than just teammates. In true Tommie fashion, we have become much more like family. Sam has truly been  been there for me through all kinds of experiences- good and bad- at UST and in the past few years since we graduated. When I got engaged, I couldn’t wait to tell Sam the great news because we had always talked about how much fun planning our weddings together would be. We can’t wait to attend all of the wedding related events together, craft tons of awesome projects, and participate in all the wedding shenanigans together. I am so lucky to have Sam to share this day with!

Jenna Mascaro
Bridesmaid

Jenna and I have been friends since I was in 8th grade and we have been great friends ever since. My dad even calls us sisters and refers to Jenna as his “other daughter”. In high school, we lived just a few blocks from each other and spent most of our time at each other’s houses. Now that we live further apart, it does make things more complicated, but when we do see each other we easily pick up right where we left off. I feel so lucky to have a friend like Jenna in my life. We have shared so much together and I can’t wait to add my wedding to the list of experiences!

Kate Hallock
Bridesmaid

Kate and I have been friends basically since about the same time that I started dating Craig sophomore year at UST. We lived together for two years at UST and we loved being able to share the few moments that we weren’t crazy busy hanging out with our group of friends, going out in Mpls or staying in to watch movies. We also took a cruise together our senior year for Spring Break! Since graduating, Kate and I have still managed to remain close friends. I always feel like even when I don’t see her for long stretches of time it’s like we just saw each other yesterday and we pick up right where we left off. I am so excited to have Kate be a part of my wedding day!

Maddie LaVine
Bridesmaid

I met Maddie in the summer of 2008 when I interviewed to become her and her sister’s nanny. She was 13 years old. I guess it’s true what they say- time flies! I nannied for the LaVine family on and off for the last four and a half years, first as an after-school nanny, then full time in the summers, and then filling in to babysit or chauffeur the girls around when they needed an extra hand. And in the last four and a half years, I have seen Maddie turn from a little 13 year old middle schooler with braces who just got her very first cell phone into a beautiful 18 year old woman. It makes me so happy (and maybe just a little sad that she’s all grown up!) to see Maddie turning into such a great person. While I might be a little sad about the idea that she has graduated and will be heading off to college in the fall, I am very excited to be able to share this experience with her. I feel so lucky to know this entire family and I’m glad that Maddie and I are much more like sisters.

Jen and I have only known each other for a short time since Jen came to work as a an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow at The LAB last fall. We sit back to back in our little corner of the office and share a love of chocolate and coffee, so we quickly become very close. We grew even closer when we co-facilitated a tough group of kids at The LAB for several months, where we came to rely on each other (and chocolate. and coffee.) to stay sane. Over the past few months, Jen has become one of my best friends and I couldn’t imagine getting married without her there by my side. I’m so lucky to have her as a friend, co-worker, and bridesmaid.
